Free service pricing calculator

Plan a service estimate using working time, your chosen hourly labor amount and costs. See the arithmetic and print your estimate.

Start with your own assumptions. No account or payment needed.

Build a planning estimate

All money amounts are in US dollars (USD). Enter 0 for unused items. This estimate is before applicable tax.

Count the whole job

Include time with the customer, round-trip travel, preparation and messages. Enter whole minutes, including 0 where a task does not apply. The calculator accepts up to 10,080 minutes per time field and 100,000 per money field. All money amounts are in US dollars (USD), rounded to two decimal places. No currency conversion is performed.

Choose your assumptions

Desired hourly pay is a planning labor allowance you choose, not a market rate or take-home pay. Direct expenses are costs for this job, such as materials or travel. Overhead is the share of ongoing business costs you allocate to it. Include each expense once. The calculator does not estimate payment fees or add a profit margin; include your own cost allowances where appropriate.

Check the arithmetic

Total minutes = on-site minutes + travel minutes + preparation minutes. Labor allowance = total minutes ÷ 60 × desired hourly pay, rounded to the nearest cent. Planning estimate = rounded labor allowance + direct expenses + allocated overhead, before applicable tax. These figures do not establish demand, guarantee profit or provide tax advice.

A hypothetical one-closet example

120 minutes on site + 45 minutes of travel + 15 minutes of preparation = 180 minutes, or 3 hours. With an assumed hourly amount of 30, labor is 90. Add 10 in direct expenses and 15 in overhead: the planning estimate is 115 before applicable tax. Every input is illustrative, not a suggested price. Replace the example with your own assumptions.

Before you quote

Compare the estimate with your actual costs and the agreed scope. Confirm duration, included work, exclusions, any applicable tax, payment timing and cancellation terms with the customer. Agree on extra time or purchases before incurring them. This planning aid is not a contract. For organizing work, leave disposal decisions with the customer and obtain separate permission for taking and publishing photos.
